Glen Affric Chalet Park, Inverness-shire
We offer the freedom of excellent self-catering accommodation in the heart of some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Scotland at very reasonable prices. Situated by forest walks, mountains and waterfalls, only 15 minutes drive from Loch Ness and 26 miles from Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Glen Affric, recently declared a National Nature Reserve, is reputed to be one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland, and there are numerous beauty spots within easy reach. Strathglass, as the area surrounding Cannich is known, is the home of the Clans Fraser and Chisholm as well as being the birth place of Scotland’s national game of shinty. We are an ideal base for outdoor activities (see activities page) or for those wishing to relax, we can offer complete peace and quiet. In an area of great natural beauty, our family-run park is committed to promoting an environmentally friendly approach to business and we have just joined Visit Scotland’s Green Tourism Business Scheme. Chalets The chalets themselves provide a very cosy holiday for up to six people. They are extremely spacious with three bedrooms, including one double, one twin and one with bunk beds, a large lounge/dining room, separate kitchen and bathroom. In some of the chalets we can provide an extra bed for a seventh person.

Kelburn Castle and Country Centre
The castle, dating back to the 13th century, still lived in by the present Earl and family provides a background to gardens, trees and many features of historical interest. The Country Centre offers pony trekking, falconry, pottery workshop, indoor playbarn and pet's corner.
